Our Practice

Our Practice

A physician-led practice on the West Palm Beach waterfront, built on a simple conviction: primary care works when it's personal, unhurried, and led by physicians.

Where patients are an extension of our family tree

GreenTree Family Medicine was founded by Dr. Jegan Gabbidon, D.O., to practice primary care the way it should be — with enough time to listen, care led by physicians, and plans that fit real lives. The name isn't a slogan: a family tree grows by knowing every branch, and so does a family practice.

The standard

Every visit at GreenTree is built on the same standard, whoever you see and however you're seen:

  • Enough time to actually listen
  • Care led and reviewed by a board-certified physician
  • Same-day and next-day access when you're sick
  • Plain-language explanations of your numbers and your options
  • Coordination that doesn't leave you chasing your own records

Dr. Jegan Gabbidon, D.O., DABFM — Founder & Medical Director

Dr. Jegan Gabbidon is a board-certified family physician and the founder and medical director of GreenTree Family Medicine. He built the practice around a conviction that has guided his whole career: primary care works when a physician has the time to listen, the discipline to follow the evidence, and the intention to stay in a patient's life for years rather than minutes.

He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida, earned his medical degree at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his family medicine residency at Palmetto General Hospital. He is board-certified in family medicine and serves as an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at Florida Atlantic University's Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, where he helps train the next generation of physicians — work that keeps his own practice current and accountable to the standards he teaches.

Before medicine, Dr. Gabbidon was a Division I collegiate wrestler. The sport left habits his patients will recognize: preparation, patience with slow progress, and respect for the long season over the single match. Health, in his view, is built the same way — steadily, with a plan that gets reviewed and adjusted rather than abandoned.

At GreenTree, his role reaches beyond his own exam room: he sets the clinical standard for the whole practice. Visits are unhurried by design. Prevention is treated as seriously as treatment. Recommendations follow the evidence and are explained in plain language — because a plan a patient doesn't understand is a plan that won't be followed. Above all, continuity is protected: the point of family medicine is to be your doctor, not a doctor.

He founded GreenTree to give West Palm Beach the kind of primary care he'd want for his own family — and named it for the way that kind of care grows: patient by patient, branch by branch.
